Organ & Body Donation
Many of us choose to help others by becoming organ donors or volunteering to donate our bodies to science after we die. Although some health conditions may disqualify some types of donations, there is no age cutoff for being a donor. The programs and organizations listed on this page provide information about organ or body donation and assist those who want to donate.

The US Health Resources and Service Administration provides information about being an organ donor, including links to state donor registries.
The county Coroner's Office provides information about how it tries to honor the wishes of decedents and their survivors while also fulfilling its duties to investigate the circumstances and cause of death. It also provides links to other resources about organ donation.
