Caregiver Respite

Caring for a loved one can be a 24/7 job. Caregivers sometimes find it difficult to carve out time to take care of themselves. Respite programs provide family caregivers with well-deserved breaks to run errands, socialize with friends, go to appointments, or do whatever they need to do for their own health and wellbeing. Respite can be provided for a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks. See also Adult Day Centers.
