Hospice & Palliative Care

The goal of hospice and palliative care is to relieve pain. Hospice provides holistic care focused on comfort for patients at the end of life. While people on hospice forego curative treatment, patients facing serious illness can receive palliative care even while actively pursuing treatments or cures for their conditions. Trying to list all hospice and palliative care providers in Sacramento County would not be practical. Instead, this page provides resources to help people learn more about hospice and palliative care, find and compare providers, and understand what benefits or services they may be entitled to.
