This Sacramento-based national non-profit organization offers peer support services for those who have lost a loved one to suicide, including monthly grief support and education meetings, informational resources, and the suicide loss helpline (800) 646-7322.

This program offers bereavement groups for all community members and additional supportive services for those who had a loved one on Sutter Hospice.

Who Is Eligible: anyone may participate in bereavement groups; survivors of former Sutter Hospice clients may receive additional support services

This monthly support group offers a safe and compassionate space to share grief, discuss coping skills, and hone the lives of beloved pets after they pass away. The group meets virtually via zoom on the first Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:00pm.

UC Davis offers a 6-week bereavement support group open to any adult who has experienced a loss.
