Exercise & Fitness

Everybody ages differently. Even though there is no one-size-fits-all answer to healthy aging, we know that physical activity is good for us. Fortunately, many local organizations offer fitness programs for older adults. Some are evidence-based programs – which means research has found them to be effective at promoting health and preventing disease. There are even some programs you can do at home. In addition to these programs, you can contact your local Parks and Recreation Department or call 211 for more information.
